Trip Deposit

This deposit works for Dominican Republic, South Africa, Tanzania, or Thailand. Regardless of which trip you are hoping to do, please submit the deposit in order to be eligible for selection.

Only applicants who have paid their deposit are eligible to be selected for a trip.

The $500 deposit will be put towards the total price of the trip. If, for example, your selected trip were to cost $1,500, then the additional $1,000 not yet paid will only be required within 2 weeks after you are selected.

Notes:

If credit card payment is selected as preferred payment choice, buyer will be charged the processing fee.

You will be notified of the location, dates, etc. of your trip if you are selected.

After receiving the notification, if for whatever reason you decide to cancel your reservation, there is a 24 hour request refund policy from the time you receive the notification.

Due to the nature of international travel, once a traveler is assigned to a specific trip,  accomodations such as transport and housing are booked quickly thereafter. Once booked, it is very difficult, in many cases impossible, for Obontu to receive reimbursement for those bookings. Because of this, after the initial request refund period we are not able to grant any refunds. All sales are final.
